Domestic Violence HelpAdditional Comments:I contacted Finding Your Destiny for some advice on escape from my relationship.I spoke with Ms. Christy and she informed me of the various techniques and other options available.Within 30 minutes I met with Ms. Christy and she helped me develop a safety plan and how to gather important documents for an emergency.Ms. Christy was not judgmental or forceful with her words and I felt her concern for my safety. I am very happy to have met her, because I have been to a shelter in the past and I was treated very close to the intimidating relationship that I was looking to escape from.As I told Ms. Christy, I will stay in contact with her organization because I want more help and I feel comfortable with her.
